Manship comes to auction

Busby are delighted to offer for sale, on the 21st of November, a small bronze by Paul Howard Manship, with exceptional provenance. The bronze, depicting a girl running with her dog, is part of the estate of the late Antonia Cole. Antonia is the girl depicted in the bronze.

Rare Vintage Football Trophy Cup Replica to be Sold

Busby Auctions will be hosting its annual Sporting, Textiles & Collectables sale on October 3rd, and one of the unusual lots to be offered is a replica miniature silver Football Association Challenge Cup trophy, commemorating Tottenham Hotspur winning the FA Cup in 1991, one of only 200 made which were commissioned by Directors of the club. This rare hallmarked silver trophy is being sold together with a replica silver hallmarked Winner's medal, in its original fitted case, and to date only a handful have been offered for sale at auction.

The Earnshill Suite - an Important Example

Busby are delighted to offer for sale, on the 18th July 2024, an important 18th century suite of mahogany seat furniture, c.1760, comprising a sofa, ten upholstered side chairs, and three window seats of graduating size, all raised on gadrooned and cabochon carved cabriole legs, terminating in scroll feet and leather casters, the property of Mr Combe of Earnshill House, Somerset.
